Hi, we’re Avi and Jay, better known as the Hungo Hoomans. This whole thing started because the two of us love eating, roaming around and arguing over where to go. One of us wants comfort food, the other wants to try something new, and that back and forth slowly turned into a passion project. What began as a tiny IG page for friends and family became something we enjoyed creating more often, so we added TikTok and now this blog.
This blog is our little corner on the internet where we share the places we’ve tried, the trips we take out of Colombo and the spots we think deserve more attention. We also love talking about underrated places in the city and the budget eats people often miss. Nothing fancy. Just real experiences from two people who are always hungry and always curious.
Our hope is that this becomes a guide you can trust. Whether you’re picking a dinner spot, planning a quick getaway or just looking for something new, we want you to feel like you’ve got two friends helping you out. We’re slowly building this space, one outing and one review at a time.
